Goda masala is commonly used in Maharashtrian recipes such as bhaji (vegetable) & aamti (dal). <br /> <br />Ingredients: <br /> <br />4 tbsp Oil <br />1 Cup Coriander Seeds <br />1 tbsp Cumin Seeds <br />20 Cloves <br />20-25 Black Pepper <br />3 inches Cinnamon <br />1 tbsp Mustard Seeds <br />2 tbsp Dagad Phool <br />1/2 Cup Dry Coconut <br />15 Dry Red Chillies <br />1/2 tsp Hing <br />1 tbsp Sesame seeds <br />1/2 tsp Fenugreek Seeds <br /> <br />Method: <br /> <br />- In a flat bottom pan heat some oil. <br />- Add coriander seeds, cumin seeds & cloves. Stir everything well. <br />- Then add black pepper, cinnamon, mustard seeds, dagad phool, dry coconut, dry red chillies, hing, sesame seeds & fenugreek seeds. Saute everything well for some time. <br />- Let it cool down completely. <br />- Add the mixture in a mixer grinder and grind it to a smooth powder. <br />- Goda Masala is ready to be used.
